Lesson 8: Mascara
Mascara! Oh, the magic of mascara… Who doesn`t love mascara? It`s probably one of the top 3 items that girls can`t live without.
Each person has different lash needs, which means, each person needs different mascaras. There are some versatile ones out there that work for everybody and can work wonders. From drugstore mascaras to high end mascaras, there`s such a wide range out there, it`ll suit every pocket. The most important thing to consider is their authenticity. It`s highly recommended that you only use approved mascaras, mainly to avoid a pretty nasty eye infection. Spend a few pounds more for your health.
Applying mascara probably doesn`t need any tutorial in my opinion. It is the one items (besides lip products), the every makeup junkie learns how to put on at a very early age. I learned at 13 or so…
Finding your perfect match and soul mate is in testing. Going through tubes of mascara and always reaching to a certain one is a sign of true love. I always end up using Maybelline Colossal 100% black. It has the perfect brush and the darkest of the black, I just love it.
While we`re talking about brushes, it is important to have a good brush alongside your great mascara. Some of them have too many bristles that will clump the whole product, while others have such short bristles that barely manage to cover all your lash hairs. Finding the perfect one and applying 2 coats of it will go a long way.
Remember, wait for the first coat to dry before applying a second one and always put on mascara on your bottom lashes as well for a better eye contour.
